On Friday, April 15th, the Wall Street Club hosted its first annual Private Equity panel in the Mendoza College of Business. Nick Weido, a Notre Dame class of 2012 graduate and current associate at Genstar Capital in San Francisco, helped to organize the panel. The panel consisted of Notre Dame graduates and former Wall Street Club members who are in their first or second years as Private Equity associates. Welcome to the Notre Dame Wall Street Club.
Through a network of current students and alumni, we provide resources and mentoring for ND students who wish to learn about careers on Wall Street. The club works closely with the Investment Office, Career Center, alumni, and senior mentors to help students network, learn about opportunities, and prepare for a successful career on Wall Street.
Students interested in getting involved are encouraged to sign up for club emails, attend meetings, and reach out to club officers to talk about interests and opportunities. On March 31st and April 1st, members of the Wall Street Club Leadership Board had the opportunity to travel to New York to visit with eight prestigious firms across the buy-side. The trip included visits to private equity funds, asset managers, and hedge funds. It was an incredible opportunity to learn more about the world of finance and to network with Notre Dame alumni.…
