Mortgaging the Future: The Millennials’ Declining Share of the Economic Pie

Location: Washington Hall

We are excited to announce a big event on campus and Scott Malpass, Vice President, Chief Investment Officer for the University, and advisor to our club, has requested that all members of the Wall Street Club attend. The event is called “Mortgaging the Future: The Millennials’ Declining Share of the Economic Pie” and will focus on how entitlements are stealing from the youth of America. This student run event will take place on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. in Washington Hall and will feature a presentation by Mr. Stanley Druckenmiller, one of the most accomplished, experienced and well-respected hedge fund managers in the world. Following Mr. Druckenmiller’s presentation, Professor Timothy Fuerst, a senior advisor to the Cleveland Federal Reserve and current ND economics professor, will moderate a discussion between Mr. Druckenmiller and Mr. Jimmy Dunne (’78), Senior Managing Principal of Sandler O’Neill and Partners and a Notre Dame Trustee. The discussion is intended to be non-partisan and the panelists are hoping to have an engaging dialogue with the students.
